C/Art, the creativity festival held in the historic center of Carrara, recognized as a UNESCO Creative City since 2017, consolidates its dialogue with the international network of creative cities through an event that brings together local artists with leading figures from the national and international scene. The initiative spreads along the streets and squares of the Baluardo, Cafaggio, and Grazzano, extending to art studios and some of the city's historic sites, where performances, workshops, and in-depth meetings on the themes of craftsmanship and folk arts take shape—with particular attention to their transmission and promotion—as well as performances by street artists, demonstrations of traditional crafts, and site-specific installations. The program is rounded off by moments of food and wine conviviality, including La Carrareccia, the neighborhood dinner that crosses Via Carriona with a long table under the stars, restoring a participatory and community dimension to the historic center.
